Licensing & Free Software

Machine Telecom provides most of its software under the AGPLv3. We offer commercial licenses for those who need to integrate our software into systems with incompatible licenses. You may read more about this below.

GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPLv3)

The AGPLv3 is our primary license for distributing free software. You can read the full text of the license below:

We also offer commercial licenses for organizations that prefer alternative terms. For commercial licensing inquiries, please contact licensing@machinetele.com.

Contributor License Agreement (CLA)

To protect the legal integrity of our projects and ensure we can enforce the AGPLv3 and offer commercial licensing, we require all contributors to any software we own to sign a strict Contributor License Agreement (CLA).

This CLA includes full copyright assignment to Machine Telecommunications Corporation. By signing the CLA, you assign your entire copyright interest in your contribution to us. This allows us to:

• Defend the software against license violations.
• Offer the software under dual licensing models (AGPLv3 and commercial).
• Maintain a consistent and enforceable legal framework.
